Digital Tax Stamps Request - QR Code
Through this service, the FTA, via a service provider (Crane Authentication), issues digital tax stamps for goods subject to Excise Tax, including cigarettes, electrically heated cigarettes and water pipe tobacco (Moasel) 
DTS Certify System: https://dts.tax.gov.ae/ae
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Free for the service of raising the request
AED 0.084 for each stamp, charged by Crane Authentication
30 Minutes.
Within 2 business days of receiving the completed application.

Required for creating a Certify System account for importers:
Contact the service provider to fill out an importer registration application form
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) provided by Crane Authentication at a later stage

 

Creating a Certify System Account (for importers):

1. Contact the service provider to fill out an importer registration application form
2. Fill in the form electronically
3. Prepare the relevant supporting evidence and documents
4. Compose and send an email to Ftadtscustomercare@CraneAuthentication.com
and attach the filled application form, as well as the relevant evidence and supporting documents
5. Send the email

Digital tax stamps order (for importers and manufacturers):

1. Access the applicant’s DTS Certify System account
2. Go to "Order Stamps Screen" 
3. Fill the required information
4. Submit the order through DTS Certify System

 
1. What does the item code stand for?

The item code is the global trade identification number also known as the Barcode, printed with lines and numbers on the product itself

2. What is the minimum number of stamps to be ordered?

70,000 stamps for cigarettes and 5,000 stamps for water pipe tobacco (Moasel) and electrically heated cigarettes

    1. The applicant must be registered for Excise Tax with the FTA
    2. The designated excise goods on which the stamps will be affixed to must be registered in the FTA’s system
    3. If the application is incomplete, or additional information is required, additional documentation may be requested. After submitting the additional documentation, it may take the FTA a further 2 business days to respond to the updated request
