Tax Policy Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluating and reviewing whistleblowers' reports of violations and tax evasion
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of tax technical presentations and training materials as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating and representing management in the Authority's committees and teams as requested
  • Assist and coordinate the achievement of management objectives within the context of performance indicators
  • Assistance and support of tax experts in the areas of technical tax work, review of publications, press releases, and tax document requirements

  • Monitoring suspicious behavior in registration work
  • Coordinating with the Taxpayer Services Department to process the registrations of large companies and government entities
  • Contribute to the management of the required fees upon registration
  • Providing support on voluntary registration applications and ensuring that the files are complete and contain all the required documents
  • Support on registration applications and attached documents submitted by taxpayers
  • Ensure that attached documents are verified, that discrepancies in account details are addressed and that documents are requested in support of registration applications

  • Review the Federal Tax Authority’s tax policies and operational policies and recommend changes, where appropriate.
