Federal Tax Authority’s Annual Blood Donation Campaign Records Substantial Increase in Number of Donors

• The campaign was launched In collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority and Central Park Towers.

Dubai, UAE - June 28, 2022 – The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) confirmed that the third edition of its annual blood donation campaign, organised in June, witnessed a substantial increase in the number of FTA employees coming forward to donate and save lives compared to the past two years.

In a press statement, the Authority explained that the campaign was organised in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Central Park Towers administration as part of World Blood Donor Day.

His Excellency Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the FTA, expressed his gratitude to the Authority’s employees and their commitment to helping the community. “The growing number of donors from FTA’s staff is an indicator of our work culture, which encourages social responsibility and provides assistance to those in need,” he added.

H.E. thanked the entities involved in organising this campaign and the FTA employees who donated blood, noting that a blood donation is a humanitarian and noble act that promotes a culture of solidarity and generosity.

“This campaign forms part of the Authority’s plan to intensify its activities and efforts towards social responsibility, as well as cooperate with relevant authorities to spread a culture of giving back to the community,” H.E. Al Bustani said. “The campaign noted a significant turnout from the Authority’s employees, who were keen to participate and help people in need. Blood donation initiatives play a vital role in saving lives, and they help the donor regenerate their blood and rejuvenate their immunity.”
