Khalid Al Bustani: Celebrating ‘Flag Day’ Reflects Unity and Loyalty to the Nation
Abu Dhabi, 2 November 2025: His Excellency Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), affirmed that celebrating Flag Day on 3 November each year marks a day when all entities across the public and priVATe sectors, as well as members of the community –citizens and residents alike– stand united with one heart. The occasion reflects the spirit of unity and loyalty to the nation, symbolising our shared commitment to raising the UAE flag high as a proud and steadfast symbol in all our hearts.
His Excellency said: “The flag-raising initiative reaffirms that the relationship between the leadership and the people is one of mutual loyalty and trust – paving the way for progress and sustainable development under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may Allah protect him.
“On this cherished occasion, the nation’s flags are raised high in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, inviting all citizens, residents, and institutions across the country to raise the UAE flag as an expression of national unity and solidarity around our national symbol.
