Supplier Registration for Exhibitions and Conferences Services
  • Service Description
    Through this service, the FTA registers suppliers of exhibition and conference services.
  • Channels and working hours

    24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Service Fees Details
    Free.
  • Estimated Time to Submit Application
    25 Minutes.
  • Estimated Time to Complete Application by the FTA
    20 business days from the date the completed application was received.
  • Required Documents and Forms

    Scenario A:

    • Supplier’s Licence Request Form to Grant the Right to Occupy Space.
    • Valid Trade Licence/Business Licence where the commercial activity is in line with the abovementioned business.
    • Venue registration proof issued by the competent Government entity.
    • The contract/agreement with the venue owner if the applicant does not own the venue.
    • Three examples of the events facilitated/hosted/organised.
    • Passport/ID of the authorised signatory.

     

    Scenario B:

     

    For UAE-resident suppliers:

    • Valid Trade Licence/Business License where the commercial activity is in line with event management and organisation.
    • Valid organizer registration certificate provided by the competent Government entity.

     

    For suppliers not resident in the UAE:

    • Proof of establishment.
  • Procedures and Steps
    1. Download the relevant application form (Declaration Form, Organizer Form, or Space Supplier Form).
    2. Fill in the form electronically.
    3. Prepare the relevant evidence and supporting documents.
    4. Compose an e-mail to exhibitors@tax.gov.ae and attach the filled application form, as well as the relevant evidence and supporting documents.
    5. Send the e-mail.
  • FAQs
    1. When should the supplier apply for licence renewal?

    The supplier should apply for licence renewal one month before the expiry of the licence if the license provided is valid for one year.

    Scenario A:

    1. The supplier must be registered for VAT with the FTA.
    2. The supplier must have a place of residence in the UAE.
    3. The supplier must be in the business of renting out space for exhibitions or conferences.
    4. The supplier must own space for exhibitions or conferences, or has authority to rent or operate space for exhibitions or conferences.

     

    Scenario B:

    1. The event duration must be 7 days or less.
    2. The resident (local) supplier must be registered for VAT with the FTA.
