Zero Bureaucracy Programme

The programme aims to simplify and reduce government procedures by eliminating unnecessary requirements. Ministries and government entities were directed to implement the programme immediately, cancelling no fewer than 2,000 government procedures, reducing processing times by at least 50%, and eliminating all non-essential requirements within one year. Results will be evaluated and the best achievements celebrated by the end of 2024.

The programme serves as a national model for creating the simplest, fastest, and most efficient government procedures. Through this, the UAE Government aspires to bring about a qualitative transformation in government operations, enhancing competitiveness and leadership in global efficiency rankings while ensuring a bureaucracy-free experience.

InnoVATion Lab

InnoVATion Retreat on "Zero Digital Bureaucracy"

The InnoVATion Team at the Authority organized a workshop for employees as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and simplify procedures within the Authority, by adopting innoVATive working methods that contribute to achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives.

Tax Workshops

The FTA organized more than 20 workshops covering all types of taxes applied in the UAE and tax-related services, with the participation of more than 150 stakeholders and partners. The aim was to strengthen engagement with stakeholders and simplify tax procedures, thereby contributing to the improvement of government services.

Community Participation in Zero Bureaucracy

As part of the UAE’s efforts to enhance government efficiency and accelerate service delivery, the “Zero Bureaucracy” program has launched the “Community Participation in Zero Bureaucracy” initiative. This initiative aims to empower members of the community to directly contribute to evaluating the performance of federal entities in simplifying procedures and improving service quality.

The initiative gives customers a pivotal role in the evaluation process by providing their feedback and experiences, reinforcing transparency and credibility, and strengthening the partnership between the community and the government in developing services.
